Weidner Apartment Homes acquired 3021 Holmes Apartments in Minneapolis.

3021 Holmes is a 60-unit, 6-story mid-rise in Minneapolis’s Uptown neighborhood. 3021 Holmes is across the street from Weidner’s other asset, Daymark Uptown Apartments, and the two communities will operate through a centralized leasing office in the Daymark building. This acquisition brings Weidner’s portfolio to over 6,300+ units in the Twin Cities.

3021 Holmes is a mixed-use building constructed in 2009 with 48,079 square feet of total rentable space. The community offers luxury studio, one-, and two-bedroom homes averaging 801 square feet.

The homes provide high-end amenities such as heated bathroom floors, stainless steel appliances, in-unit laundry, and floor-to-ceiling windows. Residents enjoy desirable amenities like an outdoor patio with a fireplace, a resident lounge, grilling stations, a 24-hour fitness center, and a heated parking garage with 77 spaces.

The Uptown neighborhood is known for its rich entertainment and arts scene in a prime location near the Minneapolis Chain of Lakes. The area has a Walk Score of 91, a Bike Score of 87, and a Transit Score of 84. 3021 Holmes is less than a ten-minute walk from popular attractions like the Midtown Greenway and Bde Maka Ska. It’s also a short commute to major employers like Hennepin Healthcare and 16 Fortune 500 companies between the Twin Cities.
