A joint venture between White Oak Realty Partners and CA Ventures will soon break ground on a 20-story office building in the West Loop.
Development on the 432,000-square-foot tower will start as early as June at 625 W. Adams, according to Crain’s. The building will be constructed on speculation, or otherwise known as “spec,” where developers begin the construction process prior to securing any tenants.
While this is considered a rarity for the Chicago office market, Crain’s reports that developers are confident that tenants will come following the start of construction.
The building, developed by Solomon Cordwell Buenz, will feature retail on the ground level, five floors of parking, 33,000-square-foot office floors.
