The commercial real estate market is strong in Grand Rapids and the Western Michigan region, with the multifamily, indusrial and office markets all seeing a jump in deals and new construction. Even the retail market, which is struggling across so much of the country, is showing positive signs in Grand Rapids and its surrounding communities. Retailers willing to offer shoppers something new, and something they can’t find online, are doing solid business.
That was the good news reported during Midwest Real Estate News’ and REjournals.com’s Western Michigan Commercial Real Estate Summit held May 29 at the JW Marriott Grand Rapids. More than 130 CRE pros from Western Michigan attended the event to hear from the local commercial industry’s biggest names.
And the best news? These pros said that the commercial hot streak that Western Michigan is now enjoying isn’t about to slow. There are positive signs in each of the commercial sectors, and the rest of 2019 and 2020 look strong.
