Westmount Realty Capital hires new senior legal counsel

Westmount Realty Capital is pleased to announce Alex Ingle has joined the private, national real estate investment firm as senior legal counsel. For more than eight years he has negotiated contracts and related agreements in a broad range of real estate and corporate transactions, including the acquisition and disposition of retail, multifamily, industrial and office properties, in addition to negotiating commercial leases and land acquisition for both commercial and residential development. His experience also spans the institutional investor market, working with investors and developers to structure partnership and LLC agreements and other business entities, focusing on domestic and international private equity co-investment transactions. In his new position with Westmount, Ingle will primarily be working on the firm’s transactional side coordinating all legal dealings related to acquisitions, dispositions and financing.  

Before joining Westmount, Ingle worked as a real estate associate at Wick Phillips, LLP. At Wick Phillips, he was primarily responsible for representing clients in real estate negotiations including the acquisition and disposition of commercial, multifamily and industrial properties as well as the acquisition of land for commercial and residential developments. Ingle also spent three years as corporate real estate counsel for D.R. Horton where he was responsible for coordinating with company executives in the evaluation and approval of real estate transactions for residential development, multifamily development and commercial office buildings. His strategic legal counsel extended to compliance, working with various internal departments.

Ingle also worked at Haynes & Boone for five years. Ingle received his Juris Doctor degree from Wake Forest University School of Law where he graduated in the top 4% Magna Cum Laude. Ingle received his bachelor’s in history/political science from Wichita State University. He currently resides in Arlington.
