Westmount Realty Capital, LLC promoted John Humphrey to regional manager – property management. Humphrey joined Westmount’s Chicago office last summer as senior property manager. “Soon after we hired John last year, he began to make a positive impact on both our team and our tenants in Chicago,” said Ron Gilbreath, managing director of asset and property management at Westmount. “We’re confident that John’s ability to quickly develop great relationships with tenants, vendors and brokers will position Westmount for even greater strides in the Chicago market.”
Humphrey has nearly 25 years of commercial real estate asset and property management experience. He is well-versed in the Chicago industrial real estate market and before joining Westmount in 2019, he spent 10 years with CBRE as associate director – asset services and senior real estate manager where he managed more than 30 million square feet of industrial space across 200 properties in the Chicago region.
Humphrey is an Illinois licensed real estate broker and received the RPA (Real Property Administrator) designation from Building Owners and Managers Institute (BOMI). “Westmount is focused on building out and strengthening our Chicago team by hiring and retaining top talent in the region,” said Brant Brown, CFO and COO at Westmount. “John’s role is critical to our company and his promotion reflects the leadership, knowledge and skill he has demonstrated since joining our team last year.”
