Westmount Realty Capital promotes Laura Collins to senior director, asset management and advisory in the firm’s Chicago office.
Collins has served as the director of asset management for the Chicago office for the past four years, leading direct leasing transactions. Since joining Westmount in January 2018, Collins quickly assumed a leadership role and led efforts to drive the performance of various Westmount portfolios in Chicago and Milwaukee, and the Phoenix area with the Mountain Vista Commerce Center, a 134,713-square-foot multi-tenant industrial flex property. She was also a part of the team that worked on the recent recapitalization of a 51-asset industrial portfolio totaling 6.1 million square feet in established industrial submarkets of Chicago and Milwaukee.
Before joining Westmount, Collins spent several years working as a commercial real estate portfolio manager for various Chicago-area companies. She currently resides in Chicago, and holds her Illinois Managing Brokers License. Collins is a Certified Commercial Investment Member for the Chicago chapter as well as a member of the Association of Industrial Real Estate. She serves as a board member for Fellowship Housing, serves as an Upline mentor for the UR Chicago Alliance program, and is also a mentor for iMentor in the Chicago area. In 2014, she was awarded the Oak Brook Chamber of Commerce Great Leadership Award.
