Winners of 25th Annual Chicago Commercial Real Estate Awards announced

The winners of the 25th Annual Chicago Commercial Real Estate Awards were announced Thursday during an awards dinner that took place this year at the Hyatt Regency Chicago to benefit the Greater Chicago Food Depository.

This year’s winners were:

Architect of the Year: Gensler;

Build to Suit Project of the Year: Silliker Solution Center,  Studley Inc.;

Developer of the Year: Sterling Bay Cos.;

Development of the Year: 1225 Old Town, Hines Interests  L.P.;

Industrial Broker of the Year: Daniel P. Leahy and Adam  Roth, NAI Hiffman;

Innovative Deal of the Year: Hillshire Brands Co., CBRE  Inc., Colliers International, Sterling Bay Cos.;

Interior Contractor of the Year: Clune Construction Co.;

Interior Design Firm of the Year: Perkins & Will;

Investment Sales Broker of the Year: Jeffrey B. Devine,  Steven C. Disse and Jeffrey F. Kahan (posthumously), Colliers International;

Office Broker of the Year: Matt Carolan, Jeff Liljeberg,  Meredith O’Connor, Bill Rogers, and Steve Steinmeyer, Jones Lang LaSalle  Inc.;

Office Property Representative of the Year: Joy Jordan, Jack  O’Brien, Matt Pistorio and Brian Whiting, the Telos Group LLC;

Project Manager of the Year: Howard Blair, Development  Resources Inc.;

Property Management Company of the Year: Hines Interests  L.P.;

Redevelopment of the Year: Hillshire Brands Co.  headquarters, Sterling Bay Cos.;

Retail Broker of the Year: Sharon Kahan, CBRE Inc.; and

Special Achievements of the Year:

—1871 Chicago, Desks Inc., Environmental Systems Design Inc., Gensler, Jones  Lang LaSalle Inc. and Skender Construction

—Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago, Mortenson  Construction and Power Construction
