Winthrop & Weinstine, P.A., served as legal counsel in the successful closing of the sale of eight stores owned by Stop-a-Sec, Inc. and Seck Enterprises Inc. of Luck, Wisconsin, to TravelCenters of America LLC.

All eight of the sites were owned in fee.

The stores are located in Western Wisconsin, and serve the communities of Balsam Lake, Cushing, Grantsburg, Luck, Osceola, Minong, Webster and Woodville. The eight stores have operated as Holiday franchised stores.

Winthrop & Weinstine provided legal services to Stop-a-Sec, Inc. and Seck Enterprises, Inc., in merger and acquisition and real estate matters, including negotiating the purchase agreement and other transaction documents, as well as handling all aspects of the closing.

The core Winthrop & Weinstine team included Mark Johnson, Tammera Diehm and Noreen Johnson Sedgeman.
