Wintrust Multinational Commercial Banking announced the hire of Stephen Jones as senior vice president.
“In this role, I’ll help foreign companies in the Midwest region of the U.S. grow their businesses,” Jones said. “I’m really excited to be part of the Wintrust Multinational Commercial Banking team and start working with clients. It’s always rewarding to be part of their success, and I’m looking forward to the opportunity to bring my experience and industry background to this role.”
He has extensive experience in developing new clients and building existing client relationships. With more than 35 years in the industry, Jones most recently worked for HSBC Bank as senior vice president and corporate banker, and previously served in executive roles at Fifth Third Bank, ABN AMRO Bank N.V., Deutsche Bank and Citibank.

Jones has a bachelor of arts in economics from Miami University and an MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management. He is involved with various industry organizations, including the German American Chamber of Commerce of the Midwest and the Chicago Council on Global Affairs.
