Wold Architects & Engineers, a full-service planning, architecture and engineering firm specializing in education, government, healthcare and senior living, will reclocate and expand its corporate headquarters to a new office in downtown Minneapolis in the summer of 2025.
This move aligns with the firm’s strategic growth objectives and is a key step in advancing its long-term vision.
The new headquarters, located in the 50 South Sixth building along Nicollet Avenue, will provide Wold with enhanced amenities, increased space for growth and an environment that better aligns with the firm’s future vision. Centrally situated in the heart of Minneapolis, the new office will offer greater connectivity to the architectural community, including peer firms and university students, and will be more accessible for the firm’s Minnesota-based team members.
“This decision follows a careful evaluation of our long-term needs and reflects our commitment to providing an outstanding workplace for our talented Minnesota team,” said Vaughn Dierks, Wold’s CEO. “While we have cherished our time in St. Paul, we are excited about joining the vibrant Minneapolis community. This move presents new opportunities for growth and collaboration, enabling us to elevate our services even further.”
The relocation will allow Wold’s approximately 250 Minnesota-based team members to collaborate more effectively in a connected, modern workspace. The firm’s additional 120 team members will continue to operate from offices in Chicago, Ill.; Denver, Colo.; and Nashville, Tenn.
Wold’s headquarters has been located in St. Paul since 1968, when founder Clark Wold established the firm after departing from BWW to launch his own practice. The new office will be located at 50 South 6th Street in Minneapolis.
