Aerospace systems manufacturer Woodward has purchased a 367,000-square-foot warehouse and production facility at 6300 W. Howard St. in Niles.
Woodward plans to consolidate Chicago-area operations from five existing locations in Niles and Skokie into the building at 6300 W. Howard St. It wants to partially demolish the structure and have a new two-story office space addition, totaling 100,000 square feet. The finished product will have 334,715-square-feet.
JLL’s Eric Kunkel, Kurt Sarbaugh and Scott Ohlander represented Woodward in the transaction. Duke Realty, which sold the property, was represented by Tom Rodeno and Chris Volkert of Colliers International.
