A local investor acquired the 85,000-square-foot Richland Commons, a former Haverty’s Furniture store, at 8251 Bedford Euless Road in North Richland Hills, Texas. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Younger Partners’ Michael Ytem and Robert Grunnah represented the undisclosed seller. Ready Real Estate’s Debbie Mullins represented the buyer.
The building features office and retail space and is located near the Highway 183 and Loop 820 interchange. With frontage along Loop 820, the building sits on 4.26 acres.
“The new ownership intends to bring new tenants to the building,” Ytem said. “North Richland Hills is undergoing a revitalization phase known as Vision2030 Land Use and Transportation Plans. City leaders are strategically addressing land and transportation use.”
Within the initiative, this particular corridor and intersection is sought as a catalyst to bring new commercial and mixed-use applications to the area. “Many of the existing big box stores have the potential for adaptive reuse and redevelopment,” Ytem said. “This was just part of why the timing is great for both the buyer and the seller.”
