Zibler Property Group has purchased the 12-acre Cornerstone Business Park, which is located at the southeast corner of Thorndale Avenue and State Route 83 in DuPage County. The business park has three multi-tenant buildings totaling 171,241 square feet. The buildings are currently 72 percent occupied.

“The Cornerstone property is located along the route of the forthcoming Elgin-O’Hare expressway in Bensenville, Ill., and we are very pleased to add this property to our portfolio,” said John Kersey, executive vice president of ZPG.

“As the expressway is completed, the business park will have highway frontage and a four-way interchange at its front door. This acquisition was a unique opportunity as we continue to seek additional strategic investment opportunities in the Chicago and Milwaukee metropolitan markets.”

Sellers agents for the transaction were Erik Foster and Mike Wilson of Avison Young and Mark Braumhart and Brian Schmitz of Arthur J. Rogers.

ZPG will manage the property and retain Braumhart and Schmitz to handle leasing vacancies. ZPG is the commercial development brand of Zilber Ltd. of Milwaukee.
