Troy Nash, an attorney and former elected official, is a new vice president and principal of Kansas City, Mo.-based Zimmer Real Estate Services‘ public-sector consulting practice.
Nash has now become the first African-American principal in a top-tier commercial real estate firm in the Kansas City region’s history.
Nash, who was fist elected to the Kansas City, Mo., city council in 1999, serves as chairman of the planning, zoning and economic development committee. He has more than 15 years of real estate and economic development experience.
