Minnesota’s REVocity names two directors of capital development

Northfield, Minnesota-based REVocity, a real estate firm that focuses on smaller communities through impact investing, expanded its team with the appointment of two directors of capital development, Patrick Hart, Jr. and Daniel Matajira.

They are responsible for raising equity and the capital raise strategies for REVocity community real estate funds and Rebound Partners real estate projects. They report to Lori Bonin, president of REVocity.

Hart began his commercial mortgage banking career in 1997 and achieved the Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designation in 2001.He specializes in assembling efficient capital structures by aggregating private equity, and strategic debt solutions for development, acquisition and refinancing of income-producing commercial real estate. He is a co-founder of Solomon Real Estate Group, a principal with Venture Commercial Real Estate, and is a consultant as the Director of Capital Markets for Granite Bank.     

Matajira most recently was director of investor relations for Mailbox Money Real Estate in Sioux Falls, S.D, where he fostered relationships with private retail investors, and crafted strategic sales approaches tailored to attract accredited investors, vital for securing equity funding. Matajira’s efforts contributed to the successful development of 1,200 apartment units in the region. Matajira also served as a commercial real estate agent at Marcus & Millichap in Minneapolis, specializing in the sale of apartment buildings.

Since 2019, he has remained deeply engaged in the real estate sector, leveraging his experience in owning and managing various properties such as single-family homes and short-term rentals, and serving as a general partner in multiple real estate developments.
