Kraus-Anderson names SVP of development, investment management

Minneapolis’ Kraus-Anderson Development Company has hired Bob Cunningham as senior vice president of development and investment management.  He will lead and oversee the company’s development, redevelopment and real estate investment management functions and strategy.

Kraus-Anderson Development uses an integrated approach with Kraus-Anderson Construction to provide development expertise and expand the services available to clients of the construction company, as well as to grow Kraus-Anderson’s real estate investment portfolio by capitalizing on the market’s expanding and dynamic commercial real estate activity. 

Cunningham’s commercial real estate development experience spans 40 years, including serving in executive positions at Melrose Company in Excelsior, TOLD Development Company in Maple Grove, and Opus Corporation in Minnetonka and Seattle.

Most recently, Cunningham was a partner at Wayzata-based Inland Development Partners where he oversaw the development, financing and partnerships of notable projects, including The Chamberlain Apartments in Richfield, Minn. which was a joint venture with Kraus-Anderson.

Cunningham earned a B.A. in Economics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and an M.B.A. from Drake University.
