Dominium acquires 144-unit affordable-housing development in Tennessee

Dominium has acquired Willow Creek Apartments in Mount Juliet, Tennessee, a 144-unit affordable housing development built in 1997.

Dominium is committed to keeping Willow Creek Apartments an affordable housing development and is planning a $1.8 million renovation of the property. Improvements include updating the community clubhouse, fitness center, outdoor playground and outdoor pool.  It is also making enhancements and improvements to individual apartment homes including updated kitchen appliances and kitchen areas, lighting fixtures, heating and cooling systems and more.

Willow Creek is Dominium’s ninth development in Tennessee and expands the company’s affordable housing portfolio to more than 1,600 units in the Nashville area.

Financing for Willow Creek was provided by Bridgewater Bank. The seller was Greystone Property Management. Development partners include The LIHTC Group, Commercial Partners Title and Winthrop & Weinstine.
