Timber Hill Group, a Chicago-based private equity firm specializing in the acquisition and development of logistics related real estate, has sold a 3.5-acre outdoor storage/fleet parking property at 4626 W. 42nd St. in Chicago to Zenith IOS for an undisclosed price.
The yard is in a prime location near Cicero Ave. and I-55 interchange. It is zoned for truck parking, a rare designation within city limits.
Timber Hill acquired the site in 2017 and subsequently made improvements, adding a perimeter fence, gate system and lighting.
