800 W. Washington Blvd. SVN | Chicago Commercial’s Urban Team represented the Seller, R2
Companies, involved in the transaction. At the time of the sale the 15,828-square-foot mixed-use property was fully leased and sold for nearly $640/square foot.
The team generated multiple offers and the asset sold for $10,100,000 to Related Midwest. Across
the street from 800 W. Washington Blvd., Related Midwest is developing 725 W. Randolph
St., which according to their website, “will be the newest destination for inspired living, leisure,
wellness and entertainment. Anchored by an Equinox Hotel and Club, the development will also
include rental residences and an office tower.”
With the current macroeconomic challenges, the 800 W. Washington Blvd. sale transaction speaks
to the continued demand for Chicago’s hottest sub-market, Fulton Market.
