StreetLights Residential, a Dallas-based, design-focused developer of luxury multifamily and mixed-use communities, and Mitsui Fudosan America (MSA), the U.S. subsidiary of Japan’s largest real estate company, Mitsui Fudosan Co., Ltd., have broken ground on a new multifamily community, The Oliver, located within The Central, a new 27-acre mixed-use development near the Knox/Henderson neighborhood near Downtown Dallas. Led by De La Vega Development, The Central will include a combined four million square feet of office, residential and retail space, along with a four-acre park built for active living.
The unit interiors will feature quartz countertops, designer tile finishes, GE grade gas appliances with select units offering an integrated Fabita cooktop, under cabinet beverage fridges, and smart cooking appliances. Each unit entrance showcases elaborate trim molding, eight-foot doorways and custom lighting. Floorplans will be available in studio, one- and two-bedroom options ranging in size from 585 to 1,830 square feet.
Residential amenities include a lounge with a sculpture feature wall, Starbucks coffee machine at a custom coffee bar, a large co-working space with a TV and two private co-working offices, and bike storage with a tool kit station. Pet owners will have access to a dog wash station with high and low wash basins for all sized dogs, as well as a blow dry station adjacent to a private, covered dog park. The outdoor pool lounge offers a luxurious catering kitchen and grand fireplace flanking the pool. In the fitness space there will be a separate weights area, a flex fitness space designed for yoga and Pilates with an Echelon Reflect mirror and TV, and a fitness patio just off the flex space, along with cardio and elliptical equipment.
StreetLights and MFA’s multifamily community The Oliver is part of the first phase of the 27-acre mixed-use development. The Central is within minutes to several Dallas neighborhoods including Uptown, West Village, East Village, Deep Ellum and downtown, all of which are centrally located to abundant employment opportunities and retail destinations, along with convenient access to several major highways and Dallas Love Field Airport. The Oliver is located less than a block from the DART Light Rail network, which offers a direct route to DFW airport.
StreetLights Creative Studio is the architect of record for the project and is handling all interior design in-house. SLR Construction, LLC, is the general contractor.
