
Law firm Ice Miller LLP announced that Tyler Ochs has joined the firm’s Indianapolis office as a Partner in our Real Estate, Environmental and Energy Law group.
Ochs represents clients across a wide range of commercial real estate matters, with a focus on with a focus on development, financing, and land use issues.
Tyler counsels developers, lenders, and businesses on all aspects of real estate transactions, including acquisitions, financings, closings, and zoning matters. His experience includes structuring, drafting, and negotiating complex loan documents for commercial real estate transactions and coordinating with lenders and deal counsel to prepare and deliver legal opinion letters. He also represents developers in specialized projects, including renewable energy and large-scale data center developments.
Tyler earned his juris doctor from the University of Cincinnati College of Law and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in economics from Purdue University. He is a Member of the Indiana State Bar Association, the Indianapolis Bar Association Land Use and Real Estate Section, and NAIOP, the Commercial Real Estate Development Association and was named among the “Ones to Watch” in Real Estate by Best Lawyers (2026) and an “Up and Coming Lawyer” by The Indiana Lawyer (2025).

Prior to joining Ice Miller, Tyler represented clients before municipal bodies on land use matters and assisted businesses with general compliance and entity formation, including partnerships, nonprofit corporations, C corporations, and limited liability companies. He also advised clients on employment issues, business law, and general compliance matters.
