Newmark arranged a development agreement and sale for a new advanced specialized manufacturing facility on Glenwood Road in Rossford, Ohio.
The project will deliver a 563,803-square-foot facility (with a 250,000-square-foot expansion pad) on 53 acres for global mobility technology company OPmobility and is expected to create up to 1,000 new jobs in the region.
Newmark Managing Director J.P. Champine and Executive Vice Chairman Terry Coyne helped structure and execute the transaction under an accelerated timeline, aligning the needs of both parties while supporting a major economic development initiative for the City of Rossford and the State of Ohio.
The facility will be developed by Scannell Properties as a build-to-suit solution for OPmobility, providing the company with a strategically located manufacturing operation positioned to support future growth. State and local incentive packages helped facilitate the project and advance OPmobility’s investment in the region.
Located on Glenwood Road in Rossford, the new facility will support OPmobility’s manufacturing operations and contribute to the continued growth of Ohio’s advanced manufacturing sector. The project highlights the region’s ability to attract significant corporate investment through a combination of available labor, transportation infrastructure and economic development support.
