Marcus & Millichap closed the sale of Salem Shopping Center, a 27,500-square-foot, fully occupied retail center in Salem, Illinois.
Philip Levy, an investment specialist in Marcus & Millichap’s Dallas office, in association with Steven Weinstock, Marcus & Millichap’s Illinois broker of record, exclusively marketed the property on behalf of the seller, a private ownership group. Jordan Klink, an investment specialist in the firm’s Indianapolis office, represented the buyer, a private investor.
Located at 103 Baldridge Lane, Salem Shopping Center was built in 2007 and sits on 3.33 acres near U.S. Highway 50 and Interstate 57. The nine-suite center is anchored by Dollar Tree, with additional tenants including AT&T Wireless, Shoe Sensation, Cato, El Rancherito Mexican Cuisine and other retail and service businesses. The property is also shadow anchored by a Walmart Supercenter.
