Colliers International’s David Burden, Tom Berarducci and Jay Kyle represented Crown Castle, a leading provider of communications infrastructure, in a 48,000-square-foot lease at Highland Landmark II located at 3025 Highland Parkway in Downers Grove, Illinois. JLL’s Jeff Shay and Karla Harmon represented the building owner, James Campbell Company, in the deal.
Motivated to consolidate its workforce, particularly after recent merger and acquisition activity, Crown Castle will move all five of its Chicago-area locations into the new space. The company currently has locations in Lombard, Downers Grove and Schaumburg.
“As Crown Castle looked to bring its operations together, it became clear that Highland Landmark was an ideal choice for the company,” said Burden. “It offers a convenient location for employees, reliable ownership with excellent property management, ample parking and strong brand identity with building signage in a property with large and open floor plans. It’s an overall excellent value for employee retention and recruiting.”
Highland Landmark II is a 284,000-square-foot building located in a 42-acre office development. Amenities include a two-level indoor parking deck, deli, conference center and fitness center. The building also offers 2,500 feet of tollway visibility and easy access to I-294 and I-355.
