CBRE recently represented Invenergy in a 100,000-square-foot lease at 1 S. Wacker Drive in Chicago. The sustainable energy solutions provider previously occupied 70,000 square feet at the property. The long-term renewal and expansion will increase the firm’s office space by more than 40 percent.
“We are seeing a lot of organic growth in the market and this is another great example of a Chicago-based firm expanding,” said Bill Sheehy who, along with Brad Serot and Cal Wessman of CBRE, represented Invenergy in the transaction. “This strategic move will allow Invenergy to remain in this location for the long term.”
