Kudan Group, a Chicago-based brokerage that focuses on retail and restaurant transactions throughout Chicaoland and select markets, recently closed three retail transactions. The properties were in Chicago’s Lakeview neighborhood and in suburban Evanston and Crest Hill.
Jarrett Fradin, director of real estate services, completed the sale and lease assignment at 3109 N. Halsted Street. The 1,200-square-foot site is located near the corner of Halsted, Clark and Barry, steps from national retailers like Marshall’s, Michael’s and DSW, as well as a new Advocate Medical Outpatient Center. Nori + Wasabi, a casual sushi eatery, is slated to open later this year.
Ten Thousand Villages of Evanston will be expanding from their current location to 915 Chicago Avenue, Evanston, Illinois, in a lease negotiated by Kudan Group vice president, Adam Salamon. The national fair-trade shop is widely known for their ethically-sourced merchandise.
Chad Severson, broker associate and suburban expert, facilitated the sale of Bada Brew at 802 Theodore Street, in Crest Hill, Illinois. The 5,968-square-foot tavern will be completely renovated and is said to feature a full bar, video gaming and live music. The Spot Bar and Grill opens this month.
