A new fried chicken franchise has entered the Grand Rapids, Michigan, market, thanks in part to Colliers International|West Michigan. Bonchon, which offers Korean fried chicken and Asian fusion cuisine, opened Dec. 1 at 2321 E. Beltline Ave. NE.
Bonchon is an international franchise specializing in Korean-style fried chicken. Bonchon offers a variety of dishes including made-to-order chicken wings, drumsticks and strips and a selection of Asian fusion cuisine, including bibimbap, pork buns, bulgogi and Korean tacos. Bonchon started in Busan, South Korea, in 2002. As of July 2017, there are more than 236 locations in nine countries with more than 63 in the United States.

Bonchon is one of several restaurants Colliers has helped bring to the Knapp’s Crossing retail center.
