Ryan Companies will turn the former Ford Motor Co. plant in St. Paul, Minnesota, into a mixed-use neighborhood with a focus on walkability, biking and public transit.
The 122-acre site was once the home of the Ford assembly plant responsible for manufacturin the Ford Ranger pickup.
“Ryan is thrilled to be working on the redevelopment of the Ford site,” said Mike Ryan, market leader for Ryan Companies’ North region. “This is a complex site with considerable history, and the opportunity to help bring it back to life is something we are very excited about.”
Ryan Companies has developed several high-profile projects in recent years, including Downtown East, a $588 million mixed-use project in Minneapolis on 4.2 acres of public green space.
