Principle Construction has completed the site infrastructure and a new 750,000-square-foot office and warehouse facility in Channahon, Illinois.
The building on the corner of Bluff Road and Interstate 55 is the first new building in the Channhon Corporate Center. IDI Gazeley is the developer of the business park.
The property features 86 dock doors, car parking for 440 vehicles and 192 spaces for trailer parking. Principle will build out the infrastructure for the remaining 72 acres of the park.
Principle’s Jim Brucato was the principal on the project, Darrin Dehmlow served as Principle’s project manager and Doug Brucato served as Principle’s superintendent. Sparks Architects designed the site and Jackob & Hefner was the civil engineer. IDI Gazeley’s representative was vice president of development Jeffrey C. Smith.
