M. Block & Sons leases 915,600 square feet in Tinley Park

In an expansion of its operations in the Chicago metro area and representing another good sign for Chicago’s industrial market, M. Block & Sons, has completed an industrial lease for 915,643 square feet of space at 18801 Oak Park Ave., Tinley Park.

M. Block & Sons is a Chicago-based provider of end-to-end supply chain solutions. The company offers traditional warehousing, distribution and logistics services together with a wide range of value added services.

The building, located within the Tinley Park Corporate Center, features 314 parking spaces, 211 dock-high doors/loading, four drive in/grade-level doors and 32-foot clear ceiling heights. Tinley Park Corporate Center is situated near I-80 at Harlem Avenue. It provides up to 1.2 million square feet of state-of-the-art corporate, industrial and distribution spaces. The center also is strategically located close to I-57, I-55, I-294, I-94, I-90 and I-355 and provides interstate visibility and vehicle access for M Block & Sons.

Jeff Locascio, SIOR, principal, Newmark Knight Frank Epic represented M. Block & Sons in the transaction. CBRE’s Larry Johnson, senior vice president, and Kip Hennelly, vice president, represented the owner.
