Chicago-based Bedding Experts signed a lease for 4,019 square feet of space at Deerfield Village Centre on Chicago’s North Shore. The privately held mattress retailer took space vacated by Blockbuster Video, and opened on June 30.
Mid-America Vice President Liz Krebs and Leasing Representative Sarah Drumgould represented the landlord in the lease, while Matt Smetana and Mike Wesley of Edgemark represented the tenant.
Deerfield Village Centre is located at the southeast corner of Waukegan and Deerfield roads in Deerfield. The center features 44,083 square feet of retail space that includes Chipotle, Leather Creations, Sprint and Starbucks among others, while an additional 20,216 square feet of space is tenanted by offices. Across the street is Deerfield Square, which is anchored by Whole Foods, Barnes & Noble and Ann Taylor.
