Cincinnati’s Asian Supermarket has undertaken a major expansion at its current location in the Village Crossing Center in Evendale, Ohio.
Originally opened in 2002, the market, once construction is complete, will double its current size, expanding to 30,812 square feet. The expansion should be complete before Christmas of this year.
Cindy Metz, a senior vice president with Cincinnati’s NAI Bergman, negotiated the new 11-year lease valued at $823,600.
The Asian market serves Cincinnati with seasonings, sauces, produce, meat and seafood from Japan, Korea, China, Vietnam, Thailand, India, the Philippines, and Indonesia as well as fresh meats, fish and produce from local farms.
The market’s expansion will include a tea shop, Asian herbal shop and flower gift shop.
