One of the biggest names in commercial real estate, Cassidy Turley, today named a new chief executive officer, Joseph Stettinius.

Stettinius succeeds Mark Burkhart, who will continue to serve as an advisor to Cassidy Turley.

“Joe’s leadership enhances our firm’s ability to capitalize on the significant opportunity ahead,” said Wally Pinkard, chairman of Cassidy Turley, in a written statement. “The company has met its growth and development goals ahead of schedule and we are well poised to meet our next set of strategic objectives. This leadership change is consistent with our succession plan and is at a natural time for a shift.”

Stettinius will be based in Cassidy Turley’s Washington, D.C. office. He brings more than 25 years experience in commercial real estate to his new position, including 13 years at Trammell Crow.

Stettinius has served as president of Cassidy Turley since the company’s inception in August of 2008. Before that, he served as chief executive officer of predecessor firm Cassidy & Pinkard Colliers.

“I look forward to leading Cassidy Turley as we continue to focus on expanding our capabilities and refining our platform to provide exceptional value and service to our clients,” Stettinius said in a written statement. “We expect to enter additional strategic markets as well as enhance our capabilities in existing markets in order tomeet our goals.”
