Katherine Banicki, president of Troy, Mich.-based Testing Engineers & Consultants, Inc., has been awarded the 2014 Engineering Society of Detroit Lifetime Achievement Award.
Banicki was nominated in recognition of her service and contributions to the society and to the field of engineering.
Banicki received her award on June 18 at the Cobo Center in Detroit.
