Knight Transportation has entered into a long term lease with Goodyear Tire for a state of the art facility in Joliet, IL. The deal was announced by Steven H. Tick, SIOR, Principal at Podolsky Circle CORFAC International. Tick represented the Landlord, long-time client Knight Transportation, in the transaction.
Wingfoot Commercial Tire Systems, a wholly owned subsidiary of Goodyear, will operate the 24,800 square foot facility located on 13 acres at 3301 Mound Road in Joliet, IL. The former truck maintenance facility will be repurposed to serve as a truck tire sales and truck care service center facility.
Goodyear is one of the world’s largest tire companies, with operations in most regions of the world. Together with its subsidiaries and joint ventures, Goodyear develops, markets and sells tires for most applications. Goodyear operates 51 plants in 22 countries.
