AECOM has been awarded 2019 Employer of the Year by the Chicago chapter of the Women Transportation Seminar (WTS). WTS is an international organization dedicated to building the future of transportation through the global advancement of women.
The Employer of the Year award is presented to an organizationthat excels in encouraging and advocating for the development of women in the transportation industry. Project Engineer Bridget Malinowski, who also serves as president of the WTS Chicago chapter, accepted the award on behalf of AECOM at the 2019 Awards Banquet in Chicago.
“As a woman who works not only in engineering but also in construction, I have always been able to turn to those within the company for support,” Malinowski said during her acceptance speech. “AECOM fosters an environment that encourages women at all levels.”
