GE Asset Management has owned the Class A tower since acquisition in April 2006. 181 West Madison Street is located at the center of the LaSalle Street financial and legal district. The building is 85 percent leased and anchored by Northern Trust Co., which occupies a majority of the 936,683 rentable square feet.
