MichiganCRE ALRIG developing five-building mixed-use development in Michigan July 22, 2019 Share on Facebook Share on Twitter Share on LinkedIn Share via email ALRIG USA Development is developing The Park Promenade, a mixed-use project at the corner of Allen and West Roads in Woodhaven, Michigan. The Park Promenade is anchored by Meijer and will feature five buildings ideal for retail, office and health and wellness uses totaling about 30,000 square feet. One of the buildings will be occupied by Chick-fil-A, the ninth Michigan location for the national restaurant brand. ALRIG estimates that this project will bring more than 400 jobs to the Woodhaven community. While the property has remained vacant for nearly 30 years because of environmental concerns, ALRIG is currently working closely with The Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes and Energy to pursue designation as a Brownfield Site to support the remediation efforts, and is dedicated to restoring the environmental integrity of this important community asset. One of the unique aspects of the 9-acre site will be a sizeable community park, including ample green space, playground equipment, a pond and an amphitheater to offer the surrounding community ongoing programming, events and activities. The project is slated to break ground late fall 2019, with tenants opening beginning in spring 2020.
