NAI Farbman CEO Andrew Farbman was named vice chair of the NAI Global Members’ Leadership Board. NAI Global is the largest, most powerful global network of owner-operated commercial real estate brokerage firms.

The NAI Global Members’ Leadership Board provides proactive leadership to increase the profitability, professionalism, technical capability, integrity and standards of practice that reinforce and breed mutual trust and respect throughout the enterprise. It fosters and promotes activities, education and communication that elevate the level of engagement and productivity of members, agents and the network at-large.
Farbman also will serve on the NAI Global Board’s Coordination Council, comprised of executive committee officers, past chairs, and NAI Global’s executive leaders. This group assures the alignment of strategies, goals and objectives so that the organization can perform with the greatest degree of efficiency under a shared vision.

Farbman joined Farbman Group in 2000. His primary responsibility involves evaluating strategic opportunities for both first-party equities and third-party businesses. His duties have also included: underwriting all property types and classes as well as conducting property-level due diligence for prospective acquisitions and developments, negotiating partnerships and arranging equity and debt financings. In addition, he spearheaded the growth of Farbman Group into new markets, including Illinois, Florida, Ohio and Wisconsin and was instrumental in the company’s growth in the receivership category.
Farbman graduated with honors from the University of Michigan with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and a Bachelor of Science in Social Science.
