ARCO/Murray recently completed a build-to-suit warehouse and office facility at 651 E. State Parkway in Schaumburg, which will serve as Shigiya’s North American headquarters.
David Haigh and Tak O’Hara with NAI Hiffman represented the owner on the land purchase.
Shigiya, which manufactures precision cylindrical grinders, was previously operating out of Wheeling. They outgrew their space, resulting in the move to Schaumburg. The design of the facility was driven by Shigiya’s unique business requirements and included a 10-ton overhead crane system with 56-foot span and 18-foot underhook.
