Arjo Inc. (formerly ArjoHuntleigh NA) has recommitted to the Chicago suburbs with a 62,000-square-foot, long-term lease restructuring for its North American headquarters at 2349 W. Lake Street in Addison. The lease includes an 18,000-square-foot expansion and Arjo now has the entire second floor of Meadows Corporate Center I, a 41 percent increase that provides needed space for growth in the coming years.
“We were able to secure attractive economic terms for Arjo while expanding contiguously on a single floor plate that provides good sightlines, abundant natural light and efficient space planning,” said Colliers International principal Dave Burden, who negotiated the transaction on behalf of Arjo.
Over the past 10 years, Arjo has grown steadily from 31,000 square feet to become the largest tenant in the building today. Arjo’s commitment is a testament to the value and quality workforce in the northwest suburban market which, in the past three years, has witnessed more than 4.3 million square feet in renewals, expansions and relocations by tenants 50,000 square feet or larger.
Colliers has represented Arjo across North America since 2013 and is growing its real estate advisory partnership globally.
