Armstrong Teasdale added Associate Kristopher Sabatini to the firm’s Intellectual Property practice group. Sabatini capitalizes on his engineering background to guide clients in the preparation and prosecution of patents for their inventions.
With a particular interest in cutting-edge technologies, he is experienced in drafting patents in the areas of semiconductor technologies, data science, mechanical engineering, automotive engineering and aerospace engineering.
Sabatini is skilled at managing prosecution strategy, interviewing inventors and clients to integrate business strategies and priorities into their overall patent prosecution strategies, and preparing and submitting appeal briefs for consideration by the Patent Trial and Appeal Board. He is a strong advocate for clients during interviews with U.S. Patent and Trademark Office examiners, identifying allowable subject matter to advance clients’ applications.
Prior to joining Armstrong Teasdale, Sabatini served as an associate at a boutique intellectual property law firm in Chicago.
