MB Real Estate is once again pleased to participate in “Light It Up Blue,” an autism awareness campaign, by lighting 181 W. Madison in Chicago in blue for the month of April in honor of Autism Awareness Month. “Light It Up Blue” is sponsored by Autism Speaks™, a non-profit founded in 2005 to increase funding for global biomedical research into the causes, prevention, treatments, and cure for autism.
Every year on April 2nd, Autism Speaks™ celebrates “Light It Up Blue” along with the international autism community, in commemoration of the United Nations-sanctioned World Autism Awareness Day.The campaign is a unique global initiative that kicks-off Autism Awareness Month, and helps raise understanding about the neurological development disorder. In honor of this historic day, many iconic landmarks, hotels, sporting venues, concert halls, museums, bridges and retail stores are among the hundreds of thousands of homes and communities that take part to “Light It Up Blue.”
