Avison Young‘s Chicago office joined forces with local architectural firm, MRSA Architects to help raise money for Special Olympics. The “Bad News Chairs” team was one of 32 that took to the floor as part of the Interior Investments Aeron Chair Hockey tournament.
Professionals from commercial real estate, architecture and related firms scooted around the floor on Aeron chairs by Herman Millar with hockey sticks in hand.
The tournament, held last week at Navy Pier, raised approximately $35,000. This was the second year that Avison Young and MRSA participated as a team.
The event also featured charity raffles and Chicago-themed foods for participants to partake in pizza, hotdogs and Italian beef.
