For the second time in less than two years, Beachwaver has doubled its space at the two-building industrial complex that is owned by SparrowHawk and located at 3800 Hawthorn Court in Waukegan, Illinois.
With a new lease for 21,350 square feet, combined with the 21,686 square feet it already occupied and renewed, Beachwaver now occupies 43,036 square feet at the 86,500-square-foot facility. Beachwaver has taken occupancy of the space following some tenant buildout.
The company originally leased 10,815 square feet to complete a relocation of its corporate offices from Libertyville. The space was used as its headquarters and as a quality control center. Shortly thereafter the company expanded its space to 21,686 square feet when the company brought its distribution operations in-house. Due to increased demand for its products, the company has again essentially doubled in size.
SparrowHawk was represented in the transaction by Jared Paff, VP, CBRE. Beachwaver was represented in the transaction by MK Asset Management Senior Associate Matt Knafel and Principal Hugh Williams.
