Oak Brook, Illinois-based CenterPoint Properties named Jonathan Guffey its vice president of leasing in the East region.
Guffey is based in the national industrial real estate firm’s Fort Lauderdale office.
Guffey was formerly Prologis’ vice president of leasing and led a team overseeing asset management, construction, and leasing activities for its 12 million square feet of South Florida industrial space. His experience also includes various roles at Workspace Property Trust, Liberty Property Trust, JLL and Penn-Florida Companies.
Guffey earned a Bachelor of Science degree in real estate and finance from Florida State University, where he played catcher on the Seminole baseball team.
