A new Class A medical office building will be developed in Oak Lawn, Ill., by Bluestone Healthcare Partners, LLC, which recently purchased the 2.53 acre site at 4220 West 95th Street.
The new three-story construction is to be located adjacent to Advocate Christ Medical Center and will have 60,000 square feet of premier medical office space. It is planned as a regional outpatient and primary care facility, along with a specialized cancer treatment center.
Groundbreaking is scheduled for summer of 2012 with occupancy in mid-2013.
Designed by Anderson Mikos Architects, ltd, an award-winning healthcare architecture firm, the building’s infrastructure will support the latest medical technology. The center will have an extensive underground parking garage providing sheltered parking to patients and building occupants.
The building’s southern exposure, along with an extensive glass curtain wall, will allow abundant natural lighting for occupants and will be visually prominent along the 95th Street medical corridor.
This site acquisition by Bluestone Healthcare Partners, a Chicago-based medical office real estate developer, is its third medical property purchase since 2010. Bluestone currently is also developing healthcare properties in Willowbrook, Highland Park and Westmont.
