Aptakisic Creek Corporate Park

Chicago-based Bridge Development Partners LLC has leased a total of 174,284 square feet at two industrial properties owned with its joint venture partner, New York Life Investments, previously known as McMorgan & Co.

Sonoco, a diversified global packaging company with more than 340 operations and based in Hartsville, S.C., has leased 111,095 square feet at Bolingbrook Corporate Center II at 101 E. Crossroads Parkway in Bolingbrook. The publicly traded Sonoco will take occupancy later this month, bringing the 283,630-square-foot Bolingbrook Corporate Center II to 82 percent leased.

Zebra Technologies, a global leader in barcode and RFID technology with 50 worldwide offices and based in Lincolnshire, has leased 63,189 square feet at 1700 Leider Lane in Aptakisic Creek Corporate Park in Buffalo Grove. The lease at the 188,215-square-foot warehouse brings the 508,000-square-foot, three-building Aptakisic Creek project to 100 percent occupancy. Zebra Technologies took occupancy over the summer.

Emmett Purcell of USI Real Estate Brokerage represented Sonoco in its lease, while Bill Frain, David Prell and Michael Mangan of CBRE represented building ownership. In its expansion, Sonoco joins tenant Honeywell, which occupies 120,000 square feet at Bolingbrook Corporate Center II. Bridge/New York Life Investments acquired the vacant property in late 2007 and have successfully repositioned it as a multi-tenant facility.

Kurt Sarbaugh and Robin Stolberg of Jones Lang LaSalle represented Zebra Technologies in its lease, while Keith Puritz, Brett Kroner, Ryan Bain and Zach Graham of CBRE represented ownership. Bridge/New York Life Investments developed Aptakisic Creek Corporate Center in 2008. Other tenants include Sysmex, PrimeSource Building Products Inc., Leica Microsystems Inc. and energy services provider Connexion.
