Brent Sears of Cincinnati NAI Bergman was recently inducted as scholarship chair at the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors Ohio Chapter meeting held Sept. 18 in Columbus.
As scholarship chair, Sears will work with colleges and professional organizations to identify candidates for the prestigious SIOR scholarship awards of $2,000 to selected college real estate majors and $500 scholarship awards to other commercial real estate professionals who wish to pursue the SIOR designation. The position of scholarship chair begins a seven-year commitment to SIOR, culminating in the position of SIOR chapter president.
