Brown Commercial Group has completed industrial transactions totaling 33,262 square feet in Chicago’s west and northwest suburbs. The transactions, in Bartlett, Franklin Park, Palatine and Schaumburg, Illinois, illustrate user demand for well-located facilities around the market.
Brown Commercial Group vice president of sales Mike Antonelli and associate Matt Hanson represented Custom Design Stages, Inc., a designer and fabricator of custom stages for events, in its lease of 18,448 square feet at 980 Remington Road in Schaumburg. The company, which expanded from a previous location in Schaumburg and required a quick turnaround for finding space and moving in, will use the space for equipment storage.
“Efficiency is critical in today’s market, as tenants look to expand their client base and improve market share,” said Dan Brown, principal and president of Brown Commercial Group. “This demand for efficient, well-located space has led to high transaction volume in both leasing and sales throughout Chicago’s industrial market.”
In another transaction, Brown, along with senior associate Jim Pietrarosso and sales associate Candace Scurto, represented a private investor in selling a 6,549-square-foot building at 501 W. Colfax Street in Palatine. Re/Max’s Priya Heine represented the buyer, a consulting company.
Pietrarosso also represented a private investor in the sale of a 2,015-square-foot building at 1235 Humbracht Circle, Unit E, in Bartlett. Hanson and Antonelli represented the buyer, also a private investor. Finally, Scurto and associate Daly Guzaldo represented both the buyer and seller, a private investor, in RVR Transportation Inc.’s purchase of 6,250 square feet at 1061 Waveland Avenue in Franklin Park.
